Northern lights dancing over a Tromsø fjord

Expert Guides. Unforgettable Skies

Small group aurora tours from Tromsø — an experience for life, guided by people who love the hunt as much as you will.

Why Snow Travels

It's not just the aurora. It's the whole experience.

Built around the kind of night you'd plan for your own best friends — small, warm, and made to chase the sky.

just us

Small group, big freedom

Traveling by minibus keeps things cozy and lets us stay flexible on the road — chasing remote, off-the-map corners of Arctic Norway most tours never reach.

stay toasty

Warm & fed

Insulated whole-body suits keep the cold out. Around the bonfire we serve a warm meal, hot drinks and Norwegian snacks — vegetarian or special diet? Just let us know.

we've got you

Photos included

Your guide shoots photos all evening and shares them with you afterwards, free of charge. We bring extra tripods too, and drop you back at your hotel in the city centre when the night is done.

🇬🇧Emma R.

"Felt more like an evening with friends than a tour. The bonfire, the photos, the hot chocolate. We'll be back."

FAQ

The honest answers.

Honest answer: nature decides, not us. But we chase. We drive far, we read forecasts, and we don't give up easily. If the sky doesn't cooperate on your night, you'll still come home with a story — and we'll do everything we can to make the evening worth it.

Just dress for a normal winter day. We provide the full thermal suit, insulated boots, gloves, and beanies. Layers underneath (wool or fleece) are perfect.

Absolutely. Our small groups and warm minibus make it relaxed for both kids and grandparents. Just let us know in advance so we can plan around mobility or bedtimes.

Aurora season (September–April) fills up fast, especially around weekends and holidays. We recommend booking 4–8 weeks ahead if you can.

English and Norwegian fluently. Marius also speaks German, and Cris speaks Spanish and Mandarin — we love guests from everywhere.

Right from your hotel or accommodation in central Tromsø. Pickup time depends on the night's forecast — we'll confirm by message the morning of your tour.
